      In this role, you'll:

      Join the high performing Sydney Metro Project Delivery Division and play a lead role in managing key third party project relationships and interfaces to achieve a coordinated and consistent approach to quality interface management.

      As a key conduit for Sydney Metro you will collaborate, build rapport and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders (including a variety of matrix teams across the organisation), fostering and sustaining trusted and productive working relationships.

      Facilitate the planning and delivery of interface management activities ensuring all issues are clearly understood by teams. You will also implement the Third Party Interface Standard and framework to ensure all work streams are accountable for their inputs and their management of relationships.

      Have oversight of critical interface issues that could impact project delivery and provide proactive tactical and strategic advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior managers and project teams, to ensure effective issues management and resolution. Also maintain oversight of neighbouring projects and their impacts or interfaces with any joint stakeholders to ensure a whole of government approach is undertaken.

      Contribute to the content and production of reporting on key interface management activities to inform decision making.

      Fixed Term 12 month, Full time opportunity | Hybrid work mixing in person days with George Street CBD office attendance, attendance on site or WFH.

      About you

      Seasoned in Project Interface Management you’re looking for a new challenge and meaningful work! You love complexity and thrive in a fast- paced, diverse and multi-stakeholder environment where your contributions are recognised.

      You possess:

      • Multi-year experience in a similar senior Project Interface and Delivery setting, producing tangible benefits on large scale projects (a background in the Utilities space well regarded - Water, Gas, Electricity)

      • Strong orientation for stakeholder engagement, relationship building and influence. Your patient demeanour and critical thinking approach are the basis for gaining understanding before proposing action.

      • Thorough understanding of the planning, procurement, and delivery phases of a project.

      • Demonstrated knowledge of issues and risks that could impact the delivery of a project in relation to the management of key interfaces and stakeholders.

      • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills with a proven ability to bring diverse teams and individuals together to successfully deliver to common goals.

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate and present complex information simply, for all levels and types of audiences, enabling critical business decisions to be made.
