      Job Description

      As a Project Manager at OTTO By Rockwell Automation, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating project deliverables and serving as the point of contact between customers, subcontractors and internal departments. Your goal is to manage the efforts of team members and vendors to ensure our projects are delivered on time and ensuring our customers' needs are met at go live and throughout the operational use of or solutions. You will report to Project Management Lead. The job location is Hybrid in Kitchener, ON.

      Your Responsibilities:

      • Identifying project scope, assign individual responsibilities, identify resources needed, and develop a schedule to ensure completion of project and delivery.
      • Lead, organize, manage and motivate the project team and develop relationships with all partners.
      • Be the primary contact with Customer project and operations management; build close cooperative relationships with Customers, focused on long-term partnerships.
      • Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure on time delivery in line with agreed scope of work within agreed budget.
      • Ensure management of the operational steady state phase of our solutions at our Customer to ensure our customers goals and service levels are achieved, including management of operational escalations.
      • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status report.
      • Conduct project meetings and take responsibility for project tracking and analysis.
      • Responsible for and manage cost, cashflow, schedule, scope and risk management. Responsible for overall profit of project as well as customer satisfaction.
      • Act as the point person for changes, updates, questions, and issues. Identify and pursue opportunities.

      The Essentials - You Will Have:

      • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.
      • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
      • Ability to travel for business; 20 - 25 % travel commitment over the year (travel mostly contained to Canada and USA). Trips to site would typically range from a couple of days to 1-2 weeks

      The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

      • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
      • Project management experience in a dynamic environment with technical team members, demonstrating increasing levels of project value and complexity in automated material handling industry.
      • Experience managing complex groups of partners, including large customer organisations as well as subcontractors and vendors.
      • Leadership capability to create and manage a unified and motivated project team.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
      • Experience within field of automated material handling.
      • Experience in managing operations and maintenance of mission-critical manufacturing or material handling environments with mechanical, electrical, software and IT components.
      • PMP certification/accreditation, experience in Epicor.
