      Your role at Baxter

      The Project Manager is responsible to drive end to end projects and timeline targets relating to a variety of projects across Baxter’s Business Segments. This includes but is not limited to product implementations (hardware/software) at healthcare customers, new product launches and targeted projects established by the Senior Leadership Team. Successful performance will require effective business partnership, leadership and engagement of Baxter and customer stakeholders ensuring the adherence to prescribed resource limitations, scheduling and budgets and will be in accordance with customer requirements and global business standards.

      The Project Manager is additionally responsible for the project’s tracking, issue escalation and implementation of digital efficiencies where appropriate. Developing and maintaining relationships with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Clinical, Marketing, Technical Services, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Global and external customers is essential.

      What you'll be doing

      • Partner in the definition of project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders

      • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

      • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

      • Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects

      • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely fashion

      • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

      • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

      • Report and escalate to management as needed

      • Ensure project documents are complete and up to date and help to identify and resolve issues and conflicts within project teams

      • Proactively identify potential project issues and lead the development of contingency planning to minimize Baxter exposure and risk to project completion

      • Business Partner through strategy and cycle discussions for launch partnership

      • Facilitate and lead requirements gathering sessions (combination of Project management frameworks as appropriate)

      • Partner through ongoing demand prioritization activities to ensure time/investment accounts for appropriate resourcing and complexity for new business requests

      • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency

      • Contribute time and experience to Global efforts in the development of new products and processes

      What you'll bring

      • College Diploma or University Degree - Project Management certification preferred - CAPM, Agile

      • 3+ years leading projects made up of cross-functional stakeholders

      • Proven experience working in project management

      • Experience working with JDE and SAP

      • Experience leading projects using Agile methodology

      • Project management experience leading digital transformation initiatives

      • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently

      • Fluent in use of and applications associated with Microsoft Teams and O365 applications - Advanced skills using Excel

      • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

      • Strong communication skills

      • Ability to facilitate and coordinate others

      • Timeline driven

      • Willingness to travel 10% of time Preferred

      • IT/technical savvy

      • French is an asset
