What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise and coordinate all activities for the receipt and shipment of hazardous waste materials in compliance with regulations and company policies
- Facilitate compliance inspections at customer locations and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Manage all work activities related to the receipt and shipping of waste, including paperwork coordination
- Conduct safety meetings to ensure compliance with job safe operating procedures
- Serve as the primary point of contact with customers and outside entities regarding hazardous waste operations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in an Environmental/Science or Business-related field
- 3+ years of experience in a business or project management-based role
- 2+ years of experience managing an operations team
- 40-hour Hazwoper and 8-hour refresher certifications
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements for hazardous waste management

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience with hazardous waste
- Familiarity with RCRA, DOT, OSHA, and DEA regulations related to waste characterization and transportation
- Experience with DOT shipping, packaging, and labeling requirements for hazardous waste
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- PMP certification
