What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead IT projects from inception to completion, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules for accurate tracking and reporting
- Manage project financial forecasts and resolve variances between planned and actual costs
- Prepare project status reports and facilitate meetings with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with project management governance standards and improve PMO practices

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5 to 7+ years of current project management experience delivering IT projects with a minimum budget of $150K
- Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects from start to finish
- Familiarity with effort-driven project planning techniques in MS Project
- Strong leadership capabilities and ability to manage project financials effectively
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey clear messaging to all organizational levels

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Project Management Institute PMP Certification
- Experience managing development projects in financial services or insurance companies
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and execute SOWs
- Strong customer focus with a consultative and collaborative approach
- Willingness to develop a technical understanding of systems involved in projects
