      About the Role

      As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the website projects you manage run smoothly by coordinating resources, delegating tasks, and ensuring the project timeline is adhered to. You'll be tasked with understanding the client's brand and value propositions to successfully develop and launch a website that fits their needs and goals. The goal of your role is to ensure that your clients, both internal and external, are given the best experience possible, and that the end product is a high-quality, user-friendly website that will help achieve the client's marketing goals!

      This means you'll need to excel at organization and planning, while anticipating and resolving issues along the way. You'll be the hub of knowledge and the source of truth for your projects during the development phase. You should have working knowledge of digital marketing and UX best practices to ensure the end product we deliver is beautiful and functional. You want every project to be a great representation of the client's brand, and you'll stop at nothing to ensure you meet your task.

      Internal candidates will receive priority consideration for this role. However, external applications are welcomed and will be reviewed if the position is not filled internally.
      What Your Success Will Look Like
      • Properly plan all project steps and communicate the timeline and its importance to your clients to ensure you deliver on time, while upholding quality standards
      • Scope project requirements and ensure that all unique functionality, integrations, extensive carryover and non-standard systems are accounted for in the project plan
      • Work side-by-side with designers, developers, content writers and other internal teams to produce high-quality, engaging websites for our clients
        • Communicate with the supporting teams to to ensure you are providing assets and deliverables on time
      • Use knowledge of UX design and best practices to make design and website structure decisions. Effectively communicate these principles to the client to inform, educate, and build a website to execute the client and users' goals.
      • Responsible for understanding ADA guidelines and educating clients, when needed, on customizations that go against ADA best practices.
      • Execute project management best practices, such as: same day call recaps for all calls, weekly project status reports, maintaining call notes and keeping the project plan and other project management documentation up to date
      • Reply competently to any client questions, concerns and upsets in the expected time frame
        • Email Response Time / 5-10 minutes during business hours
        • Check once during weekday nights and respond accordingly. Check email twice on weekend days (once in morning, once in evening) and respond accordingly.
      • Complete quality checks on your projects to ensure we provide the best possible product
        • Write detailed development tickets / tasks to ensure edits are completed correctly
      • Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues
        • Responsible for keeping your Lead and Director updated on any issues that may arise pre-launch including:
          • Requests that are not part of our standard offering
          • Integrations you were not aware of from the start of the project
          • Clients pushing back on items we believe are best practices, numerous rounds of edits in any stage, consistent missed deadlines (internal or external)
          • Anything that might break standard process, scope creep, etc.
      • Launch projects within the expected timeline, while properly managing workload to avoid backlogs in any area in the development process (i.e. backlog in specs, QCs, edits, ready calls, etc.)
      • Maintain intermediate knowledge of assigned vertical industry & website, UX and project management best practices
      • Effectively utilize the CSX Delivery workflow and tools to execute job responsibilities
      • Follow the Delivery playbooks to ensure you are providing the same level of quality for every project and avoid missed steps

      • 2+ years' experience of experience as a project manager or related role

      • Top-notch communication & presentation skills to liaise and interface with clients in a highly professional manner

      Compensation

      We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
      • The base salary range is $60,000 (entry-level) - $65,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
      • The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
