What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage TSMO initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Develop and implement TSMO strategies to enhance transportation system efficiency and performance
- Manage project teams to ensure successful delivery of TSMO projects within budget and on schedule
- Act as a mentor for engineers and technical staff, providing guidance throughout project lifecycles
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for TSMO-related projects

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering, urban planning, or a related field (master's degree preferred)
- 12+ years of experience in transportation systems management or related fields
- Proven experience managing TSMO projects, including real-time traffic management and data analytics
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with transportation planning tools and traffic modeling software

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE), Project Management Professional (PMP), or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP)
- Experience with Traffic Management Centers (TMCs) and real-time operational data dashboards
- Knowledge of TSMO operations metrics and traffic management technologies
