What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage TSMO initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Develop and implement TSMO strategies to enhance transportation system efficiency and safety
- Manage project teams to ensure successful delivery of TSMO projects within budget and on time
- Act as a mentor for team members, providing leadership and guidance throughout project lifecycles
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for TSMO-related projects

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering, urban planning, or a related field (master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in transportation systems management, ITS, or traffic operations
- Proven experience in managing TSMO projects, including data analytics and operational efficiency improvements
- Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
- Familiarity with transportation planning tools and traffic modeling software

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification as Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE), or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience with real-time operations and Traffic Management Centers (TMCs)
- Knowledge of TSMO operations metrics and traffic management technologies
