- Act as an internal advisor within the organisation for the departments and other business units in the group that need assistance with the renovation or expansion of plants and production facilities.
- Lead, coordinate, and assist in investment projects, mainly involving building facilities and utilities, in close collaboration with the plant management, production supervisors, and other technicians in the local technical department.
- Assist on building applications related to building permits. External consultants are often used for design work, so agreement terms and management of these are also part of the job.
- Be financially responsible for projects, including planning and budgeting, preparation of tender material, tendering, contracting, commissioning, and handover.
- Participate in innovation and sustainable projects with a focus on automation and implement such projects at the group's facilities.
- As you will also be responsible for projects at our foreign factories, the position involves some travel, equivalent to approximately 30-40 travel days annually.

The position is within Danish Crown Engineering, currently consisting of 20 dedicated colleagues covering the fields of Process Plants, Energy and Technical Utility Plants, Construction, and Facilities. Our primary role is to provide technical advice to our abattoirs and processing plants in Denmark and abroad. We imagine your workplace will be at our headquarters in Randers, but for the right candidate, it could also be based at one of our production sites in Denmark.
Take on a crucial role in the implementation of construction and technical projects related to production facilities.
As our new Project Manager, you will be responsible for CAPEX leading technical investment projects from idea generation to commissioning. In this capacity, you will:Technically skilled with project management experience
You have several years of experience in a similar position, and your educational background could be, for example, a civil engineer, construction engineer, or similar, possibly with a commercial overlay. Experience in the food industry is a clear advantage.
As a person, you are persistent and thrive on achieving results and driving processes in collaboration with other stakeholders. Due to your project management experience, you succeed in getting everyone to the finish line at the agreed time and with the desired quality – here you understand how to facilitate the process and ensure support and understanding among your partners. To succeed in the role, it is essential that you have good communication and presentation skills, allowing you to communicate and collaborate at all levels in the organisation. Additionally, you are structured, analytical, and take pride in following up and completing tasks.It is a requirement that you speak, read and understand both Danish and English.
