      Salary: £38,587 - £45,397 depending on skills & experience

      Job Purpose:

      To deliver and ensure compliance of all investment activities to meet the Cadent business plan targets across the Network. Cadent's Project Supervisor is responsible for developing business cases (T002/DPSC) to allow projects to be raised and initiated. Working closely with Investment Planning Office (IPO), Safety & Engineering, Capital Delivery & Finance, tracking and reporting of project spend against delivery forecast. The role is accountable for the close out of Projects in line with Cadent’s policies & procedures working closely with the IPO Team & Portfolio Specialists to capture all project costs correctly and in a timely manner. Our Project Supervisors liaise with Network Control, IPO, Strategic Partners, Capital Delivery, and subcontractors to ensure that the competent project resources are deployed and are responsible for monitoring CDM/SCCF compliance/assurance of all works

      Other responsibilities include:

      • Ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, on time and to appropriate levels of performance
      • Responsible for ensuring strict compliance with Safe Control of Operations (SCO) and compliance with management and control of new works, modifications and repair policies (e.g., G17 process) for project work scope.
      • Provision of technical support to the Area Managers as operational requirements emerge
      • Participation within the Network Operational Standby rota
      • Ensuring compliance with design standards and specifications
      • Contribution towards the Future Energy journey for Energy Operations
      • Ensuring all data is captured accurately and handled/stored to comply with Cadent Policies & Procedures

      What you'll bring:

      Qualifications

      • HNC/SNVQ/NVQ or equivalent operational experience in network engineering techniques supported by relevant training or qualification
      • IOSH
      • SCO Authorising Engineer (AE) & Competent Person (CP)

      Practical Experience

      • Delivery of engineering projects preferably within the gas industry
      • Understanding of Contract management
      • Knowledge of engineering standards
      • Comprehensive knowledge of and understanding of gas plant and process systems
      • Understanding of risk management principles and tools & HSE regulations
      • Knowledge of Operations and SCO requirements
      • Understanding of Process Safety Principals
      • Good communication skills verbal & written
      • Contract management experience
