What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise Claims Examiners, Claims Assistants, and potentially File/Mail Clerks and Administrative Assistants
- Accomplish department objectives by organizing and monitoring work processes
- Recruit, select, orient, and train employees
- Coach and counsel employees to achieve job results
- Monitor and ensure compliance with licensing requirements
- Implement and enforce systems, policies, and procedures
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Develop schedules, assign and monitor work, and gather resources
- Resolve operational problems and implement new procedures
- Provide quality service by enforcing standards
- Contribute to team effort and accomplish related results

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Technical knowledge of statutory regulations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage employees of various skill levels
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Certifications and/or licenses as required by State regulation

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Property and Casualty claims
- Strong coverage analysis skills in General Liability and Construction Defect
- Refined CGL/CD, Bodily Injury, and Significant Damage Assessment skills
