What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct field engineering risk assessments and risk improvement services for prospect and bound accounts
- Collaborate with underwriting teams and attend client/broker meetings as necessary
- Manage account risk portfolios and provide engineering support to meet underwriting requirements
- Identify exposures with significant loss potential and review property/casualty management program effectiveness
- Develop and implement customer service strategies to reduce losses and enhance customer operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3 or more years of experience in Risk Management and Property & Casualty Safety, or
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in Risk Management and Property & Casualty Safety
- Experience working in a team environment
- Relevant experience in risk assessment as required by LOB specific competency standards
- For Senior Risk Engineering Consultant role: Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of experience in Risk Engineering, or equivalent experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic data aggregation systems
- Industry experience in manufacturing, life science, or fire protection systems within a safety role
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), or Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) designations
- Strong communication and analytical skills
