What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Investigate claims by determining policy coverage, evaluating, negotiating, and settling claims
- Initiate contact with insureds, claimants, and relevant parties to gather information and explain the claims process
- Complete inspections of damaged property, evaluate damages, and prepare written estimates according to policy provisions
- Possess competent knowledge of residential and commercial construction techniques
- Maintain appropriate adjuster's licensing as required

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to thrive in a remote-work environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft WORD, Excel, Xactimate, and claims estimating software
- 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training
- Valid driver's license with ability to drive an automobile
- Physical ability to walk, reach, climb, and inspect damage, sometimes in unfavorable conditions
