What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Organize and coordinate proposals and proposal resources to ensure successful submissions
- Write and edit technical sections of proposals, including methodologies and project approaches
- Analyze government Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and ensure compliance with technical requirements
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Project Managers to gather and verify information
- Conduct internal reviews and incorporate feedback to enhance proposal quality and effectiveness

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of federal contractor proposal development and writing experience
- Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline
- Above-average knowledge of government procurement processes and technical proposal requirements
- Excellent experience writing, proofreading, and editing both technical and non-technical proposals
- Strong understanding of the capture process and ability to present complex technical information clearly

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification from Shipley or the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP)
- Experience with various Federal Government contract types (e.g., IDIQ, FFP, T&M)
- Proficiency in creating and editing technical graphics, such as flow charts
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word
