What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the development, implementation, and management of contracting activities for various healthcare providers
- Develop and execute negotiation strategies and special initiatives
- Build and preserve strong relationships with affiliated healthcare providers
- Handle boilerplate and special term contract negotiations and implementation
- Collaborate with the Contracting Manager and other colleagues to enhance service delivery

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: Associate degree or 60+ credits in healthcare, business, marketing, education, or a related field
- Minimum of four years' experience in a medical group practice or health insurance/HMO environment
- Experience with healthcare claims and insurance reimbursement methods
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, healthcare, finance, or related field
- Experience in payor and/or provider contracting, including professional services and financial analysis
- Familiarity with value-based contracting methodology
