What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Negotiate cost-effective and competitive contracts with providers to meet economic and quality goals
- Develop business cases and present findings to senior management to support contracting initiatives
- Educate providers on value propositions and collaborate on payment transformation arrangements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and monitor vendor performance standards
- Manage provider credentialing processes and maintain accurate provider information

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Care Administration, or related discipline, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- 2 years of experience in healthcare or a related field
- 1 year of experience in contracting, provider recruitment, or provider relations
- Deep understanding of reimbursement methodologies used in healthcare provider contracting
- Effective negotiation skills and superior PC skills, including financial analysis and modeling

- Master's degree in Business or Health Care Administration
