What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Negotiate cost-effective and complex contracts with providers to enhance the provider network
- Develop and present business cases to senior management to support contracting initiatives
- Educate providers on value propositions and collaborate on value-based arrangements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage the provider credentialing process
- Work with the Reimbursement Department to develop financial projections and manage RFP processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Care Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years in healthcare or a related field, with 1 year in contracting or provider relations
- Deep understanding of reimbursement methodologies used in healthcare provider contracting
- Proven ability to build strong collaborative business relationships
- Effective negotiation skills and superior PC skills, including financial analysis

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Business or Health Care Administration
- Experience with electronic contract management systems
- Strong knowledge of health care financial matters and third-party payment methodologies
- Ability to function as a subject matter expert for assigned networks
- Effective time and project management skills
