What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a liaison between providers and the employer, addressing contract disputes and ensuring accurate implementation of contracts and rates
- Communicate with providers to respond to inquiries promptly and professionally
- Coordinate claim inquiries and complaints, supporting audits and Joint Operating Committees (JOCs)
- Ensure accurate provider demographic data in the employer's database and handle requests for changes
- Document outreach activities in compliance with department standards and perform additional duties as required

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, Public Administration, or Management
- 3 - 5+ years of direct provider relations experience
- Knowledge of provider and payor roles, responsibilities, and challenges
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain rapport with providers and their staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word

- Experience in health care financing, access issues, delivery systems, quality controls, and legislation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance provider relationships and project outcomes
