What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and submit provider credentialing applications and conduct necessary follow-up
- Maintain follow-up guidelines for enrollment/credentialing applications and provide status updates to Care Centers
- Ensure confidentiality for all matters pertaining to provider credentials
- Work closely with Care Centers and providers to obtain missing documentation for enrollment activities
- Manage provider information and track payer enrollment status in credentialing database and Salesforce
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred or a minimum of 3 years experience in a payer enrollment related field
- Knowledge and understanding of managed care operations including enrollment, credentialing, contracting, and claims
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with credentialing software and CAQH (Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare)
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail, research, and follow-up skills
- Flexibility to extend work hours as required depending on deadlines and events
