What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Determine provider eligibility for medical assistance programs through validation of requirements
- Approve provider revalidations, updates, and applications for enrollment independently
- Implement policies and ensure compliance with regulations during the approval process
- Conduct thorough reviews of applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete
- Counsel providers on enrollment policies and procedures, addressing any billing discrepancies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a closely related field, or five (5) years of relevant experience
- One (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistance Specialist 2
- Experience providing direct client services or counseling in health insurance or public assistance
- Knowledge of Medicaid programs and associated requirements
- Ability to analyze complex situations and make timely decisions

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficient in the ProviderOne billing system and Siebel information storage system
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage customer expectations
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and tools
- Experience in resolving enrollment-related issues and ensuring compliance
- Comprehensive knowledge of health insurance premiums and claims processing
