- Evaluate and treat individuals, who present with various mental health, substance abuse and developmental disorders, and provide consultation/collaborative treatment with other treating providers, in & outside of our practice.
- Evaluates and assesses patients, provides a plan of care, prescribes medication for patients with mental health conditions, and serve as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team to include nurses, care coordinators, clinicians, and other service providers as needed
- Responsible for documenting in the Electronic Health Record, achieving measures for Meaningful Use, CPT documentation elements, and promoting integrated primary and behavioral healthcare
- Responsible for having a basic understanding of mental health accreditation standards issued by their respected board and must maintain those standards to remain fully licensed by board
- Provision of crisis intervention services to clients/patients as needed
- Crisis intervention may require consultation with additional staff regarding management/treatment concerns, referral, and/or mental health follow-up
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each and every client situation
- Maintain all required licenses and the appropriate insurance
- Participate in and complete all required trainings
- Other duties as assigned
