Valor Healthcare is looking for a passionate Psychiatrist to join our team! This fully remote position is a PRN position requiring collaboration with 3-4 Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in our Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Tennessee.

Valor operates more than 50 VA CBOCs in the United States as a contractor for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. We provide a full range of medical services to veterans through the operations of CBOCs, tailored to meet the specific needs of local VA medical centers. Our comprehensive set of services includes primary care, diagnostics, laboratory, telehealth, behavioral health, and more.

Salary: Monthly salary per NP plus travel expenses.

Core Responsibilities

• Review 10 charts per month with online chart audits.
• Be available for texts or calls from MHNP.
• Visit clinics every 30-60 days.
• Maintains confidentiality of veterans’ data and information.
• Complies with all VA and company training requirements.
• Fulfill compliance requirements of the Office of Inspector General (OIG), Joint Commission (JC), Environment of Care (EOC) oversight, lab compliance and other related items.
• Remain focused on achieving excellent clinical outcomes through the specified VA guidelines.
• Must provide excellent customer service to each veteran and his/her family, both in person and over the phone, as well as to fellow colleagues and clinic visitors.
• Embrace and support new initiatives, whether clinical or operational.
