      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Promote and grow Neurocrine products within a specific geographic territory through education and business development
      - Execute sales strategies and marketing plans to meet or exceed sales objectives via direct interactions with healthcare professionals
      - Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the psychiatric and movement disorder marketplace
      - Identify territory-specific opportunities and barriers to ensure product and company success
      - Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support sales efforts and enhance communication

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - BS/BA degree in science or related field and 8+ years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical sales
      - Proven sales performance demonstrated by meeting or exceeding sales objectives and goals
      - Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environments and best practices in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
      - Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for frequent driving as part of job responsibilities
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong project management abilities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in specialty pharmacy and distribution
      - Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic sales
      - Familiarity with business systems and salesforce automation platforms such as Salesforce.com or Oracle database
      - Entrepreneurial attitude and/or experience in a start-up environment
      - Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally
