About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, and working in residential and day program settings, the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Worker provides holistic care for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness to achieve success and satisfaction in accordance with their personal values and goals. The Psychosocial Rehabilitation Worker supports, educates and assists clients in the areas of living, working, learning and socialization, and facilitates an environment that fosters client participation and independence.
The Psychosocial Rehabilitation Worker participates as an active member of an interdisciplinary team and practices in accordance with the Psychosocial Rehabilitation model, demonstrating a commitment to the mission, vision, goals and objectives of the Nova Scotia Health (NSH). Compensation and Incentives
$23.98 - $26.78 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan. (Permanent Long Assignments Only)
