What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Obtain authorization and benefit verification for new guests in the Physical Therapy service line
- Ensure CPT and ICD-10 coding are supported by clinical documentation
- Manage workflow of assigned accounts and prioritize issues to meet authorization deadlines
- Review provider notes to ensure services are adequately documented for authorization submission
- Assist with clinic correspondence tasks and respond to guest emails in a timely manner

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Familiarization and understanding of CPT and ICD-10 codes
- Extensive knowledge of health insurance billing and processes
- Ability to read clinical notes and extrapolate necessary data for authorization approval
- Experience using PM/EMR systems
- Strong attention to detail and proactive leadership skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of provider plans and payer contracts, including worker's compensation
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
