What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Write and edit communications for various materials for internal and external distribution, including emails, publications, and digital content
- Ensure compliance with university marketing and branding policies
- Collaborate with the staff in the Office of Strategic Communications for Undergraduate Education and Faculty Affairs
- Consult with colleagues across departments as needed
- Follow brand guidelines for all marketing materials
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in writing/editing, marketing, or communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong writing and editing skills, with knowledge of Chicago editorial style and AP Style preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain a high level of confidentiality
