      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Supervise the general maintenance, construction, and repair of various public buildings and furnishings
      - Ensure compliance with established medical and physical standards for the class of work
      - Oversee and coordinate maintenance staff and activities
      - Maintain accurate records related to maintenance and construction projects
      - Conduct inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Graduation from a standard senior high school or completion of the GED test
      - Completion of a trade school or apprenticeship program in the building construction field
      - Minimum of five years of general building construction and maintenance experience at the supervisory level
      - Strong leadership and supervisory skills
      - Ability to meet medical and physical standards for the class of work

      - Experience in public sector facilities management
      - Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
      - Additional certifications in construction or maintenance trades
      - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
