Master’s degree in communications, college student personnel administration, public health, or closely related discipline.
At least two (2) years of experience working in either public health, health care or academic setting.
Prior experience in creation and procurement of Memoranda of Agreement.
Demonstrated ability to work with interprofessional and collaborative teams, as well as capacity to work independently for timely task and assignment completion or resolution of challenges.
·Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders including students, industry partners, preceptors, faculty and staff.
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, delegate or resolve as appropriate.
Advanced computer skills in MS Office suite, CANVAS or other platforms or software sufficient to assist for both presentation and publishing.

The Opportunity:
As part of a newly state-funded undergraduate program in public health, the Washington State University (WSU) CVM, including the Paul G. Allen School of Global Health, the School of Molecular Biosciences, and the Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology in Pullman, WA seeks to fill a permanent full-time (12-month) Public Health Student Success and Experiential Learning Coordinator, with remote work option. This newly created role is an exceptional opportunity for an innovative leader to coordinate and support high-impact experiential learning. The Coordinator will leverage institutional resources and existing programs to achieve outcomes through experiential programs including community engaged learning, undergraduate research, laboratory experiences, internships and cooperative education opportunities, study abroad, ministry programs, service learning, and related opportunities.
The degree program is a multi-college interdisciplinary degree program with multiple tracks, including an infectious disease track housed in the CVM and a community and behavioral health track on our Spokane and Vancouver campuses. This program includes tenure-track research and clinical faculty focused on preparing a public health workforce that will serve the needs of rural, remote and underserved communities. The curriculum was developed in collaboration with partners in the department of health and other industry stakeholders to reflect creative academic solutions to workforce needs. Opportunities to work with WSU’s global campus and develop certificate programs and micro-credentialing are ongoing, with areas of expertise including infectious disease, behavioral health, global health, one health, tribal and indigenous health, and epidemiology.
Work is performed remotely with option to work on campus as necessary
Occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
Required Qualifications
Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis.

This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary:$4,061.90 - $5,416.67 | Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
