What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the Governor and Secretary of Administration in the development and implementation of the state budget
- Analyze public policy and programs while collaborating with assigned agencies
- Work in a fast-paced environment managing agency assignments as determined by position
- Provide input on policy recommendations and assist in implementing policies and procedures
- Analyze public sector budgets to support decision-making processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Training or experience in research and analysis of policy issues
- Familiarity with budget analysis and operations
- Professional written and verbal communication skills, including correspondence and presentations
- Must be available to report to the office at least 2 days per week
- Background checks will be conducted prior to selection

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience developing and implementing policy recommendations
- Previous experience working with state government agencies
- Knowledge of Wisconsin's public policy landscape
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
