Job Description
- Req#: JP-005221693
- Perform setups and operation of punch press machinery.
- Place and replace dies in the machine along with performing minor maintenance.
- Use hand tools for die setting and adjustments.
- Perform 1-3 setups a day.
- Measure quality using micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
- Perform minor die/machine maintenance including lubrication and part replacement.
- Ability to perform setups and operate a punch press.
- Proficiency in using quality measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
- Experience in die installation and adjustments as well as minor maintenance (lubrication and part replacement).
- 2-3 years of experience in performing setups on Punch Press Machinery.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to perform self setups on both machines - Press Brake and Punch Press.
- Bilingual - Spanish.
- Knowledge of the following machinery: Diamond hydraulic press - Stamp press, Stamtec - Punch Press, Schmidt - Punch Press.

Work Environment
You will be working in a machine/job shop environment with about 30-40 people at the Palatine location, including 6 contractors. The work environment is collaborative, allowing individuals to work with other departments to find the answers they need. The hours for this position are from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with overtime depending on the production schedule.

This position is based out of Palatine, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
