What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop documentation to support the procurement and purchasing lifecycle
- Manage communication and coordination with various product vendors and providers
- Execute procurement and supplier management activities for Commercial and U.S. Government contracts
- Prepare Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and ensure proposal package accuracy
- Monitor procurement reports and assist in driving performance to meet company metrics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience supporting a federal government department/agency (DoD experience highly preferred)
- Knowledge of federal government purchasing rules and regulations (FAR/DFAR)
- Hands-on experience with the procurement lifecycle, including software and hardware
- Expert proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple procurements simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint Materials, Time & Expense modules
- Familiarity with Government P-Card and bank reconciliation processes
