What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop strategies and plans for cradle-to-grave acquisition projects, including resource identification and timeline development
- Prepare sourcing strategies and contract solicitations, including determining specific contract language and clauses
- Evaluate proposals based on technical, price, and total cost of ownership to ensure best value
- Conduct negotiations on price, technical requirements, and contract terms
- Manage contract administration, including performance reviews and contract close-out processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with Postal Service tools and systems, such as CAMS and Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Relevant certifications or degree in Supply Chain Management preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPSM, CPIM, or CSCP certifications
- Experience with supplier diversity planning and sourcing strategies
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and administration processes
