The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst II is responsible for executing and supporting the testing phase of the software development lifecycle. This role ensures that new and/or modified software meets documented requirements, functions as intended, and aligns with end-user expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Understand business requirements and technical documentation to create comprehensive test plans, cases, and traceability matrices.
- Design detailed positive and negative test scenarios to verify and validate software functionality and identify potential risks.
- Execute test cases, validate results, and document findings, including defects and inconsistencies, with accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate with project leads to develop test strategies and estimate testing efforts.
- Interact effectively with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and Business Users, to resolve issues and enhance software quality.
- Collaborate with Product Owners during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase.
- Provide clear, timely communication regarding software issues, concerns, or updates to technical teams and stakeholders.
- Support post-implementation troubleshooting to isolate and resolve potential problems.

Requirements

EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Equivalent experience may substitute for minimum educational requirements. Equivalent experience may include three (3) years of relevant experience.
EXPERIENCE Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant work experience, including software testing and Agile Methodologies required.
CERTIFICATIONS Property and casualty insurance industry designations preferred (i.e. Associate in Claims [AIC], Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter [CPCU], etc.)
LICENSES Valid Driver's License required.
