- Participate in project planning meetings, offering insight and expertise to uphold quality and sufficiently craft a test plan that is fit to purpose.
- Provide estimates for executing test plans for upcoming projects.
- Execute regression tests that may follow a predesigned test plan or may be augmented to be efficient for the code coverage required.
- Triage incoming defect tickets from other members of the cross-discipline team to ensure priority issues are being addressed, and irrelevant issues are accurately deprioritized.
- Execute and audit web properties for compliance with Accessibility, SEO, and Analytics standards. This includes being aware of possible violations in Data Protection compliance.
- Conduct Quality Assurance sweeps as necessary, leveraging automated test tools to make this work efficient.
- Work with the development team to constantly improve the testing framework, bringing new ideas from the industry to planning and retrospective discussions.
- Exercise best practices, current trends, and come up with creative solutions to testing or compliance problems or obstacles.
- 2+ years of overall software or web QA experience.
- Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, software testing standards, methods, and conventions, and the product development cycle.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing high-quality testing plans and producing high quality and verbose QA documentation.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize. Are resourceful, self-directed, proactive, and accountable problem solver.
- Experience in scripting, user-level test automation and performing black-box testing.
- Experience tracking and documenting your work through Jira and test suite tools such as Zephyr.
- Experience performing accessibility audits and tests including manual validation of WCAG compliance up to Level AA.
- Experience performing SEO audits and tests including validation of schema, crawlability, and web core vitals.
- Experience performing analytics audits and tests, ideally with Google solutions (UA, GA4, and GTM).
