Key Responsibilities:

Data Quality Assurance:

• Develop and execute QA strategies for data ingestion processes transitioning from MS SQL Server to Databricks.
• Utilize PyTest to automate testing scripts ensuring reliable data pipeline functionalities.

Technology Implementation:

• Work proficiently with tools like Python, SQL, Azure, Databricks, Github, and Qlik Replicate to facilitate seamless data transformation.
• Collaborate closely with data engineering teams to optimize data flow across platforms.

Collaboration and Documentation:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and quality standards.
• Document testing processes, outcomes, and key insights for future reference and continual improvement.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Python, SQL, and QA practices in data environments.
• Strong familiarity with Azure, Databricks, and associated data engineering tools.
• Proven experience with PyTest and other testing frameworks focused on data reliability and integrity.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and implement effective QA strategies in evolving data landscapes.
