      Thomson Reuters is looking to add a QA Engineer to our Commercial Engineering. This challenging position requires someone to think independently, work well collaboratively across multiple disciplines, including working with a variety of technologies stacks (as required). This is a chance to get in and make an immediate impact on our new and expanding product lines.       As a QA Engineer you have the ability to deliver high quality work in a timely manner, in a fast-paced environment while collaborating and brainstorming with others in a dynamic team environment. A combination of strong planning, organization, time management skills, and handling multiple projects are key. You will also contribute to the maintenance and support of production systems, as necessary.

      About the Role:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required.
      • 4-8 years of QA Experience
      • Minimum 4 years of experience designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automation tests or similar in Java or other Object-Oriented languages
      • Proficient and have a solid understanding of Selenium
      • Experience with test management tools and is comfortable with writing test plans and test cases
      • Experience testing Web Applications in cross-browser and cross-device manually as well using automated test tools
      • A strong understanding of techniques for exploratory testing
      • Able to work independently with minimal direction and guidance to achieve goals
      • Experience using Agile Methodologies
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, Business Analysts, management, and business team members)

      About You:

      • Understanding of both black box and white box test approaches
      • Managing code and changes in a team environment to include experience with source control utilities, such as GitHub
      • Strong troubleshooting and debugging experience
      • Experience working with project management tools like Azure DevOps , Jira etc
      • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or AzureDevOps
      • Comfortable designing acceptance test criteria for user stories and development tasks
      • Technologies a plus, to include Adobe Experience Manager, Cucumber-JVM and Javascript.
