- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced QA Lead to oversee and drive the quality assurance strategy for our software products.
- The QA Lead will be responsible for leading a team of QA engineers, designing and implementing test processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- This role requires a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience in functional, regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with table/data validation.
- Proficiency with tools like JIRA for planning and tracking QA efforts.
- Expertise in creating and presenting reports to track QA progress including test execution status & metrics.
- Understanding of key retail operations, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, product life cycle, e-commerce platforms, supply chain processes, and inventory management.
- Experience working with retail data warehouses, reporting systems, and analytics platforms. Collaboration.
- Ability to lead onsite and offshore QA teams, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge on Agile methodologies (Sprint/Scrum environments).
- Expertise in managing and prioritizing defects with cross-functional teams.
- The role will involve QA lead activities for integrating multiple infrastructures into one unified system. The QA team will oversee all solutions.
- Retail experience is a mandatory requirement (not looking for eCommerce experience, but rather someone with backend integration experiences specifically how to integrate POS system to backend systems like Merchandising ERP, Finance backend systems like Oracle Fusion and someone who knows how to write scripts to read data).
- We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in Merch. ERP with POS, Oracle with POS, or Symphony AI (although Symphony AI experience is good to have but not required, as the client uses it).
- Additionally, experience with any generic ERP merchandising or ERP systems integrated with point-of-sale systems, ordering systems, and inventory monitoring systems is required.
- Candidates with experience working in the retail sector—specifically companies in grocery stores, for example ALDI, Albertsons, Sprouts etc. grocery marts, or other retail grocery companies—would be ideal.
- Candidates who have worked in non eComm Retails stores like Costco, Target, Walmart etc. can also be a good fit.

Role: QA Manual Tester
Location: Carson, CA
Onsite / Remote: Remote is fine, must be in PST preferably, If candidates are from EST or any other zone - they will have to work as per PST (Please focus PST / MST candidates first).
Client Visit Required: Yes, Candidate should be open to visit client whenever required (Very rare – once in 4 months / 6 months)
Duration: 12 months + possible extension
Experience Required: 10 years minimum - 20 Years maximum
