Role Name:QA Test Engineer
Location of Requirement: Hyderabad
Desired Experience Range: 5 years to 10 Years
Role Profile
• In this role, you will be joining our Connect Intranet Team, part of Employee Experience within Corporate Systems, as a QA Test Engineer, responsible for overseeing the production of test cases/scenarios, test planning and defect management for any new features, updates or defect fixes on the M365 platform. In addition, we need you to carry out QA testing in our lower environments, assist user accepting testing, where required and technical validation during production releases.
• What you will be working on: Connect – Connect is a global internal intranet on our Microsoft SaaS platform that is part of our M365 eco-system and delivers news, information and support to all internal users within London Stock Exchange Group.
Tech Profile/Essential Skills
• 5+ years’ experience as QA Test engineer.
• 3+ years’ experience of manual testing, test automation or other DevOps experience.
• 2+ years’ experience of Atlassian Jira. (or Asana).
• Ability to analyse software and quality requirements and document Test Plans.
• Create and manage test case items in Jira.
• Identify, create bugs and track to resolution in Jira.
• Provide summary test reports to team at key checkpoints (Unit testing, regression testing, production validation testing).
• Ability to analyse and re-produce technical issues.
• Attention to detail including experience in UI testing against UX designs.
• High fluency in English with strong communication skills in verbal and written English.
• Experience with SharePoint functionality - architecture, sites, apps and webparts, workflows and integrations.
• Familiarity with software testing processes and best practices.
• Test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Pytest, Selenium).
• Experience of working in software delivery methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, DevOps.
Education and Professional Skills
Professional qualification or equivalent experience.
• Self-starter with excellent initiative and ability to encourage others with a solid focus on collaboration and partnership.
