      The Department of Developmental Services' Northeast Region is seeking qualified candidates for the (QIDP) Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional Human Services Coordinator I position at the Hogan Regional Center located in Danvers, MA.


      The primary responsibility for The (QIDP) Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional is to work with the treatment team, to
      assure compliance with the Title 19 Active Treatment in accordance with Facility Policy, State & Federal Regulations. The
      QIDP will accomplish this through incorporation of the clinical assessed supports into each persons ISP, modification of
      supports as necessary and assurance of compliance via direct observation of active treatment activities.

      Duties and Responsibilities:(The duties and responsibilities stated are general summary and not all inclusive)

      • Coordinates and facilitates the development of the (ISP) Individual's Service Plan for individuals on caseload within established time frames.
      • Arrange and organize DDS funded and generic support services in response to individual’s needs monitor the implementation on these support services and the ISP process.
      • monitor DDS funded residential and day program supports-visiting on a frequent basis and documenting these visits.
      • Monitor the safety and wellbeing of assigned individuals
      • Provide advocacy in human, civil and legal rights.
      • Maintain communication and outreach with community services and other state agencies and coordinate referrals as needed.
      • Maintain individual’s records and relevant computer databases for assigned individuals.
      • Maintain regular and consistent contact with individuals, service providers and families as indicated.
      • Arrange for an provide crisis intervention for individuals as needed-assessing needs and making recommendations for follow-up planning.
      • Facilitate team meetings and monitor follow through on recommendations.
      • Provide information to supervisor and other members of the Management Team as needed.
      • Perform related duties as required.

      Agency Requirements:
      - Must possess current and valid Class D Motor Vehicle Operator's License.

      Please Note:

      Schedule: this is a Full-time, 40 hour position (must be flexible to meet the needs of the facility)
      Monday 10:00am-6:30 pm
      Tuesday 9:00am-5:30 pm
      Wednesday 8:00am-4:30pm
      Thursday 6:45am-3:15pm
      Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
      Days off: Saturday/Sunday

      ALL EMPLOYEES ARE PAID ON A BI-WEEKLY BASIS AND MUST HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT. Listed salary ranges are for one full year at current rates.

      Applicants must have (A) at least three (3) years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience in human services work or social work of which at least one (1) year of specialized professional experience must have involved working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

      (B) Based on assignment as Qualified Intellectual Disabled Professionals, within the Department of Developmental Services, a Bachelor's degree or higher in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, counseling education, education of the physically or emotionally handicapped, education of the multiple handicapped, education of the learning disabled, human services, rehabilitation, rehabilitation counseling, nursing, recreation therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, music therapy, physical education or other a related field is required.

      Based on assignment, travel may be required. Incumbents who elect to use a motor vehicle for travel must have a current and valid motor vehicle driver’s license at a class level specific to assignment.
