What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs
- Plan and organize case review assignments
- Conduct case and quality control reviews of programs
- Verify information received from case readings, sources, and clients
- Participate in corrective action planning and service improvement activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in social work or a related field plus two years of full-time experience in social service financial eligibility determination, auditing, or investigating work
- One year of full-time qualifying experience may be substituted for each year (30 semester hours) of education
- Knowledge of the Texas Unemployment Compensation Act
- Experience in the unemployment insurance program applications and benefits system
- Experience using scanner, faxes, printers
- Experience issuing unemployment fraud or identity determinations
- Experience in reporting data findings
