Job Description
- Req#: 3567
- Wage: $28/hr
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - 3pm to 11pm. Shift will rotate with the year progressing.
- Calculating and making adjustments to the batch to bring them to specifications.
- Perform all laboratory tests according to written instructions, including existing/ newly introduced equipment.
- Perform mathematical calculations using supplied equations or spreadsheets.
- Use ERP software for incoming material control, entering QC data, and generating COAs.
- Maintain housekeeping in Laboratory.
- Quality control of raw materials, intermediate products and finished goods, including quick troubleshooting.
- Ensure that the tests are correctly carried out, documented and up-to-date.
- Conduct and coordinate Round Robins and measurement variant analysis.
- Coordinate and investigate complaint management process.
- Generation of product information for release and troubleshooting.
- Previous laboratory experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Knowledge working with operating systems and basic office suite software
- Self-starter with good communications skills
- Detail oriented
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
- Previous laboratory experience is a plus
- Occasional lifting up to ten lbs.
- Must be able to work in a climate controlled, laboratory environment.
- Vision must be good or corrected to normal to perform normal job duties.
- Hearing must be good to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties.
- Ability to read and write in English in order to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.
