      What this Job Entails:

      The role of a QC Technician is to ensure Astreya managed service workflows are effectively conforming with customer requirements (process compliance and work quality) and providing early detection of nonconformance. The work of a QC Technician is strategically important in demonstrating how Astreya actively manages service quality and provides Astreya operational leadership and our customers with the quantitative and qualitative data they need to manage their business.

      The QC Technician accomplishes this by creating audit data (observations and

      findings) from auditing assigned tickets to confirm process compliance and the quality of work documented within each ticket. The QC Technician is responsible for documenting and sharing as much information and context so Astreya Service leaders can act to disposition and remediate issues to ensure that managed service quality is maintained and improved over time.

      Functions/Responsibilities

      • Assess the process accuracy and quality of documented work in each assigned ticket.

      • Adheres to standards and procedures that comply with Client and Astreya service requirements.

      • Provide as much information and context as possible when documenting observations and findings for each audited ticket.

      • Maintains security and integrity of the audit process.

      • Provide feedback to improve audit process.

      • Engage in educational and training opportunities.

      • Able to define quality standards defined by the organizations.

      Basic Requirements

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

      • Ability to follow and understand company standards and policies.

      • Willingness to learn new systems, techniques, and technologies.

      • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

      • Customer service skills.

      • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

      • Knowledge of Google suite products (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Meets, and Drive).

      • Teamwork and collaboration.

      Minimum Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent (preferred)

      • At least 3-5 years quality assurance/control or audit experience.

      • Knowledge of Google suite products (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Meets, and Drive).

      • Understanding of internal audit standards and assessment practices.

      • Teamwork and collaboration.

      • Excellent written/verbal/documentation/communication/reporting skills.

      • Ability to follow company standards and policies.

      • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

      • Customer service skills.

      • Training, education and/or experience may be substituted in lieu of certain minimum requirements.

      Salary Range

      $16.66 - $33.23 USD (Hourly)
      • Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
      • Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position. Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
