      About the Role:

      We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Nurse to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. As a Quality Improvement Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that our healthcare services meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with our healthcare providers to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient care. Your ultimate goal will be to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction, while also reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Active RN or LPN license
      • Associate's degree in nursing or related field
      • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality improvement in a healthcare setting
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
      • Certification in quality improvement
      • Experience with electronic health records
      • Experience in project management

      Responsibilities:

      • Conduct regular audits of healthcare services to identify areas for improvement
      • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
      • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
      • Analyze data and provide reports on quality improvement initiatives
      • Provide education and training to healthcare providers on quality improvement best practices

      Skills:

      As a Quality Improvement Nurse, you will utilize your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient care. You will also use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare providers and provide education and training on quality improvement best practices. Your ability to analyze data and provide reports will be essential in measuring the success of quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, your experience with electronic health records and project management will be beneficial in this role.
