- All training will take place on 1st shift and then individuals will be moved to their assigned shift.
- Daily inspection of plastic parts to ensure conformity to company engineering and quality standards.
- Cross trains as a back-up to the Associate Quality Control Specialist when there are specific labor shortages.
- Effectively communicates quality issues to other functions when observations are observed during Work-In Process Incoming and Assembly inspections.
- Conduct multiple visual and/or dimensional inspections of parts from all appropriate molding cells, daily.
- Other duties as assigned and as stated in the full job description.
- Apply company quality standards and make appropriate evaluation of all products.
- Work in a manufacturing environment where the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Wear protective gloves and equipment to handle parts when applicable.
- Functional understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
- Maintain a consistent, positive attitude and approach to adversity and challenges.
- Provide suggestions for and support continuous improvement activities within the department
- GED or High School diploma required.
- Associates degree in a specialized field such as science or technology with approximately 1 year of experience in a quality control/assurance role.
- Prior QA experience preferred.
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write short correspondence.
- Experience working in the injection molding industry.

- Dress Code – Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required. For those working in the Clean Room, additional gowning is required and will be provided, daily.
- You’ll be working around large machines, forklifts and welders.
- Climate control temperatures and all work is conducted inside.
