Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
# Adherence of IMS (ISO9001, ISO14001,ISO45001&EnMs) & IRIS requirements.
# Represent Customer within plant to ensure Product, Process, Quality & Safety Requirements are in line with customer /RDSO Specifications / STRs etc.
# Prepare documentation for New Product Registration / Renewal, QAP’s, Check sheets / Re-approvals.
# Ensure Customer order validation for quality requirements and avoid inspection hurdle.
# Ensure call Raising, customer inspection, clearance, IC & DM collection including IR process for TP Check Items.
# Ensure Joint inspection with consignee / Inspecting agency in case of 0km Customer Complaints reported in customer inspected or consignee supplies.
# Ensure PDI & share relevant reports with customers as per Consignee requirements.
# Ensure recording of all observations raised by inspecting agencies & ensure it’s periodic follow up with CFT for systematic closure.
# Ensure participation in Quality Improvement projects, VA/VE projects, Kaizen, Suggestion Scheme, QRQC and other improvement activities.
# Ensuring the implementation of assigned activities under QMS/EHS/ VSM & WMS, as applicable.
# Ensure effective self-inspection & documentation to meet RDSO/RITES/Customer specific requirements to reduce the inspection NCR’s.
# Conduct random customer product & process audit and register WIM/QRQC for RCA.
# Visit to customer site for joint investigation / to take feedback about our product for improvement.
# Ensure Zero 0 Km NCR’s due to lack of PDI & documentation.
# Ensure proactive inspection preparation (i.e. Quality assurance plan update, Check sheet update and approval as per requirements) & planning to avoid Penalties.
# Manage in-process Quality and QA wall clearance.
# Update weekly, Monthly /A3/Bowler reports & present to HOD.
# Conduct periodic CFT meetings with SCM/PPC/Sales to discuss & raise deficiencies (if any) on time.
# Conduct periodic risk assessment and take actions to avoid inspection hurdle due to Quality.
# Training and development of team members.
# Budget monitoring & optimization.
