What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as an expert resource providing advanced practice theories and techniques to maximize quality patient/service outcomes
- Coordinate peer review activities for the medical staff department to assess and monitor performance
- Promote oversight of focused and ongoing peer review with department leaders
- Actively screen cases in preparation for review by a peer review physician
- Maintain current electronic database and documentation of peer review activities

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Current Alabama RN licensure
- Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills
- Considerable knowledge of advanced clinical practices

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Nursing or Health Administration
- Working knowledge of quality assurance, utilization review, or risk management
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
