- Assists with quality engineering duties in the development and application of quality tools, methods, and systems that result in continual product quality improvements. Participates in the Quality Assurance functions within the manufacturing division by assisting in developing, implementing and administering quality specifications, test methodologies, and sampling plans for product and process.
- Project Work – Works with the Quality Team on project requests on non-conformances and/or customer complaints.
- Collects, analyzes, and presents Quality data for trending and for the development of Quality Performance Indicators. Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes. Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities. This position will work closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical Services and IT teams to develop and implement software data collection systems.
- Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommended process improvements to management.
- Works on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles throughout the organization using value stream mapping and other lean tools.
- Participates in and conduct ongoing training in the areas of quality, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Automate data collection from different process equipment’s to improve quality and manufacturing efficiencies. Work closely with Technical Services and configure programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) to ODBC servers.
- Ability to lead LSS projects across multiple plants and departments. Understand LSS methodologies to drive continuous efforts to improve process efficiencies and reduce waste. A focus on achieving measurable and quantifiable financial returns for the company.

- Minimum Qualifications:
- 0 Years – Experience in Quality Engineering
- 0 Years – Experience in SQL, ODBC, and PLC Programming
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 Years– Experience in Quality Engineering
- 2 Years – Experience in SQL, ODBC, and PLC Programming
- Experience and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodology principles.
- Experience with statistical process control software.
- Experience in manufacturing plants and knowledge of plant processes.
- Demonstrated skill with information systems and technology.
- Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of personal.

- Bachelor's Degree In Engineering (Preferably Chemical), other related fields, or equivalent work experience.

- Master's Degree In Engineering, MBA, other related fields, or equivalent work experience.

Quality Systems Engineer I (Remote) The Quality Systems Engineer I will assist with the implementation and front-end maintenance of quality systems. The Quality Systems Engineer will create and maintain quality system standard operating procedures, work with management representatives at all manufacturing plants, communicate quality system changes, and partner with other team members and department managers to ensure the system supports overall company goals.Essential Functions
