      Olin Winchester, LLC (“Winchester”), considered one of the world’s leading ammunition manufacturers, is seeking Quality Verification Technicians. This position will be located at the Oxford, Mississippi Centerfire facility. Quality Verification Technicians start at $19.18/hour with an increase to $21.40/hour after successfully completing 90 days.

      Quality Verification Technician Essential Functions*:

      · Support manufacturing operation in the Quality Verification functions.

      · Perform a variety of inspection and audits associated with all processes in multiple departments.

      · Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, and scales to measure specified variables for each of the manufacturing processes.

      · Able to perform a detail visual inspection of product.

      · Capable of interpreting and following inspection plans and work authorization.

      · Ensure daily reports are accurate and legible.

      · Entering data into spreadsheets or Infinity QS software.

      · Utilizes appropriate RCRA procedures to conduct hazardous waste tasks as assigned.

      Quality Verification Technician Position Requirements*:

      · Minimum of one (1) continuous year of recent work experience; manufacturing experience preferred.

      · Previous experience in a Quality Technician role preferred.

      · Must be able to attend orientation and training on 1st shift (7:30a-3:30p) before transitioning to either 2nd shift (3:30p-11:30p) or 3rd shift (11:30p-7:30a) primary assignment. Training could take up to 6 weeks to complete.

      · Ability and willingness to work overtime, including weekend hours.

      · Proficient in English language with reading, writing, and speaking.

      · This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required

      · This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

      · Prior Winchester experience in a relevant position preferred.
