      We are looking for:

      • Silica Business strategy is related to the development of tire innovation products and process improvements. Today, the R&I focus is on developing solutions to improve our environmental footprint by managing different key pillars : circularity, alternative & renewable raw material and carbon neutrality. For our research and innovation center of Aubervilliers, we are looking for a process engineer to work on those topics in our lab / pilot facilities.


      We count on you for:

      • Your main missions, under the responsibility of the lab manager :
      • Comply with HSE requirements and participate in lab 5S and safety activities. Maintain a safe work environment for self and others, and provide recommendations of investments. Propose and execute with your team (1/2 technicians) Research & Innovation projects in the field of new product or process development (efficiency, sustainable actions like carbon neutrality, water savings, …)
      • Lead or assists projects performed at lab/pilot scale (customer sampling, process optimization, …) and work on industrialization on new technologies / plant process support in close collaboration with the industrial te
      • Collaboration with process engineer counterpart or GBU technology function to improve global chemical processes from in-depth understanding of existing processes and new insights
      • Facilitates the development and career of his team members·
      • Assist in the review and monitoring of patent/scientific literature relevant to the business.

      You can count on us for:

      You will bring:

      • Process Engineer (from Chemical Engineering schools such as ENSIACET, ENSIC…)
      • First professional experience in a comparable environment (3 to 5 years)
      • English fluent is needed for regular oral and written communication with the global team
      • Solid process skills from the research stage to implementation at industrial scale (precipitation, solid/liquid separation, drying, …)
      • Experience in design of experiments, data analysis, process optimization
      • A developed practical mind in the fields of powder technology could be a nice to have (implementation, shaping, characterization)
      • Autonomous, capable of working within a multidisciplinary and international team with good communication skills
      • Proactive in establishing collaboration with the R&I, manufacturing and Technology Function teams in the GBU and outside the GBU (internal or external collaborations, …)
