      Radiographer – TX Hip & Knee Fort Worth

      Work location: 6301 Harris Parkway, Suite 300, Fort Worth, TX 76132

      (may include some travel less than 25% of the time)

      Work hours: Full Time Days (8:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday) for 40 hrs/week.

      Here’s What You Need

      Education

      · Completion of an ARRT-approved Limited Radiologic Technology education program (Required) And

      · Associate's Degree Radiologic Technology (Preferred)

      Experience

      · 1 Year Clinical radiologic technology experience. (Preferred)

      Licenses and Certifications

      · ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Required) And

      · BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required) Or

      · ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)

      What You Will Do

      · Produce and perform all diagnostic radiograph procedures, to be interpreted by the physician or radiologist.

      · Take x-rays of various portions of the body in order to diagnosis disease or injury. Position patients and adjusts equipment for taking diagnostic images following established procedures.

      · Examine radiology film and/or digital exams for properties such as density and contracts, definition, magnification and distortion.

      · Maintain radiographic log, in accordance with the policy, taking responsibility for documentation of exam, patient’s name, and/or retake reason. Maintain separate report on all diagnostic x-rays. Maintain accurate department records to satisfy both the state and federal regulations.

      · Follow principles of safety, radiation protection, and the general comfort and care of the patient.

      · Record test results and monitor patient data.

      · File and maintain shipping and receiving log of radiographs and other diagnostic tests requested.

      · Maintain current MSDS forms for radiology department.

      · Calibrate and maintain x-ray equipment.
